What is RAYNET
RAYNET is the UK's national voluntary communications service, provided for the community by licensed radio amateurs and motivated volunteers. RAYNET volunteers provide emergency communications during times of crisis and disaster. RAYNET ensures that vital information can be transmitted when traditional communication systems fail. The organisation plays a crucial role in supporting local authorities, aiding in public safety, and fostering community resilience. Through training and outreach, RAYNET also promotes emergency preparedness among community members.
